I get the occasional emails from folks who do not want to shop at Amazon and order a coffee pot over the internet. That’s fine. Although Amazon has probably the best customer service and return policy around, there are certain things that a person wants to buy at their local store.

You can find regular coffee pots, dual coffee makers, single cup coffee makers, and different espresso machines at many different departments stores, however, the best place I have found to buy the largest variety of coffee pots of all kinds is Kohls (see the photo I took).

They usually have very good pricing, and, if you go to their website, www.Kohls.com, you should sign up for the email newsletter.  This will get you a 10-15% off coupon, and sometimes 20%. You get these coupons emailed to you about twice a month.

There aren’t too many brands of coffee makers they do not carry. You can buy a $15 to a $400 coffee maker, just depending on how many features you want. The last coffee maker I bought was from Kohls. It was a red Kitchen Aid.

The other thing you can find there are different accessories. You can find water filters and the single cup coffee pods, pod holders, and anything else you may need.

So, that is my suggestion. Sears, Macy’s, Target, or wherever may have some too, but not the variety in brands and styles of coffee and espresso machines that Kohls has.

Owning a Dual Coffee Pot isn’t going to run you much more than a nice single pot machine. Among the most common testimonies among both men and women say is that it lets you make caffenated and decaf coffee at the same time, in two different pots! That is the number one feature… making it a great solution for households that have different tastes. Most machines will have two 10-cup coffee pots so each one can brew it’s own type of coffee.

If you can’t find a good coffee pot on Amazon (which is about the cheapest place you’re going to find them), then you might want to consider ebay. I can find brand new or like new items on ebay for 50-60% off at the store. This will be true of a good Dual Coffee Pot too.

The Kitchen Selectives dual coffee pot is getting harder to find, except maybe on ebay. The Krups Dual Coffee Pot is more readily available. It has the 2 individual, stainless steel coffee pots, which are thermal to keep your coffee hot for hours. There are multiple settings depending upon if you are brewing a small pot or a full pot. One of the reasons I like the Krups is for their “Deep Brew” technology. It brings out more flavor in my Coasta Rica or Kenyan coffee. You get extra rich, robust flavor.
